Jude came to me recently and asked my to cut up a pineapple for him, and hang it so that it would look as if it were levitating in the air. I thought it was the craziest idea, but of course, I had to take him up on the challenge and boy am I glad I did.

I ran to Target and grabbed a pineapple that looked the best, and quickly drove home to begin this task. I cut the pineapple in half and stuck a screwdriver through the center of the bottom half. Next I tied a piece of string onto a safety pin, and strung it through the center so that once the pineapple was in the air, the safety pin would catch onto the bottom of the pineapple and make it stay together. I then later bent an old hanger (to make it straight) and stuck it through the top half of the pineapple and connected on the end of the hanger the string. It was a challenging process, and even required some help from my father to get it all to work out
